I’ve added photos of Android 12′s thigh parts to the main project page. There will be more details once I get both legs assembled and attached to the hips.
Here’s the video showing the 3D design and printing process for Iron Man’s fingers:
I’ve added some pictures to the Iron Man Hand Armour page. I decided to 3D print the fingers in the end. I have also published the STL files if you’d like to 3D print your own.
Here’s the video for testing the boat in the River Hamble, Southampton UK. Also thoughts on the next steps of the project:
Here’s Part 4 of Iron Man’s Hand Armour, including 3D printing magnetic latching parts and lighting. More over on the main project page.
Part 5 of Android 12 is up, explaining the hips assembly. More over on the main project page.
Here’s the latest boat building video showing how I skinned the frame. The next video will be testing in actual water. More pictures over on the main project page.
I’ve now saturated the boat skin in Polyester resin, so far it’s absorbed 20Kg of resin and you could probably use the boat now. I will however be making further reinforcements with glass fibre mat and also reinforcing the cross-supports so they can be sat on.
I’ve added a lot of pictures of Android 12′s hip assembly to the main project page. Video to follow.
Now the Weather is warmer it’s time to get out in the shed and do fibreglassing again, so I’ve picked up my exerpimental boat project. I’ve skinned the frame with fleece fabric which will be soaked in Polyester resin to make it go rigid, and this will then be reinforced with more glass fibre/mat. More pictures over on the main project page.
