Pocket Slider camera dolly
I’ve seen several camera dollies on DIY sites recently, for use with DSLRs during time lapse recording. This example seems to be very nicely engineered using a CNC mill.

Good quality photograph is good quality
I’m filing this under photography. Although it’s obvious that a planned, well photographed photo looks better, it’s quite amusingly presented in the video below.
Light painting with a flash light and a long exposure
The picture below is actually a photograph composited from several photographs taken with a long exposure in the dark, where only specific areas where illuminated in each exposure.
